As mikmum would say "Bless his cotton socks"!!  Must have made him burst with pride and you too for that matter!

Give him a big thumb's up from me!!

Oh, he's a ham!  lol  I am proud of him.  I was really worried about him being bored this year after me retaining him (he's immature, but very smart).  I no longer doubt the decision.  he helps out all the time.  I'm betting too much  in the teacher's mind.  lol  Awwww, so cute!   You must be proud!I love hearing positive news!!! When they get that good feeling of helping others, they do more and more of it, makes them feel good. Good for your boy! I bet you will see more of that in the near future. My son will be 9 on the 19th.  For halloween the students had to pick a halloween poem to memorize and perform in front of the class, 21 students plus teacher and aid.  They were given the poems to choose from 4 weeks ago.  He knew his with in a week and had a little routine I taught him to do.  One of the other children in the class didn't know his poem, so at lunch when my son found out, he asked the teacher if he could go and get the packet that had the poems in it, she agreed.  He helped the other child during lunch and both recesses.  He said the little boy still didn't remember all of it, but he still passed.  He felt so proud that he helped some one else!  I think that is the first time that he has actually said to me, "Mommy, I have a friend that needed my help in school and I did it during recess!"  My little boy is growing up!
