DYSLEXIA IS APD RELATED. ONLY THE NEW RESEARCH SUPPORTS THIS. AT ONE TIME IT WAS BELIEVED TO BE VISUAL RELATED. I FOUND THIS OUT BY A LADY AT DYSLEXIA CORRECTION. VISION THERAPY CAN HELP ALSO FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS. DANIEL'S LANGAUGE THERAPY WORKS ON APD AND LANGUAGE BOTH. DYSLEXIA CRITERIA STATES THE DIFFICULTY HAS TO BE IN PROCESSING/SPACIAL RELATIONSHIPS. WE ARE HAVE ING HIM RESCREENED FOR DYSLEXIA ALSO.
A friend of mine's daughter is struggling with APD and dyslexia. There is tons of info on dyslexia, but not much regarding APD. Does anyone know of a support/bulletin board similar to this where parents dealing with APD can meet and bounce ideas off of eachother?
