Childhood | ADHD Information

Childhood was not bad. I was inattentive so I did not have any of the behavioral problems of inability to sit still in class, etc.

I seemed to be smart enough that I could BS my way around most problems (pull school projects together the night before, etc.).

Where I started to have problems were from my teenage years and beyond. This is when friends started to expect some type of responsibility and consistency in relationships (like remembering to return calls, etc.). It caused me to wash out of college several times. It has caused unbelievable problems in my career and marriage.

Hell. I was made fun of by both the students and the teachers. me too. What was childhood like for you living with ADHD?
