Concerta and hyperactivety | ADHD Information

I am not a hyper person, welll today I started concerta and OMG I have been so hyper ( I love it) I have been diagnoised with ADD without the hyperactivity so if a person is not hyper will this med make you hyper?   Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question.  I do know that concerta has calmed me down and reduced my physical signs of hyperactivity immensely.  I can actually sit still and not fidget as much.  I do not pace or get up and down all the time.  Maybe it varies for each person.   When the concerta wears off, I am hyper to the max.

So what symptoms of add is it helping?  Have your thoughts slowed down?

[/QUOTE]   LOL well like I said this is the first day and I don't think my mind has raced as much,  I can't get this song out of my head LOL. I am just enjoying feeling well, peaceful, not as stressed and I have tons and tons of energy
