Thank You | ADHD Information

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the members at this site. During the awful times last year, the diagnostic process and treatment initiation I was able to read the experiences of the members here. I learned I was not alone and I learned that even though things could be tough at times, things could get much better. I am reassured that the care my daughter is getting is appropriate and that the school she goes to is handling the IEP issues very well. You help set a benchmark for expectations and I have wanted to give a big thanks for sometime now.

My daughter was failing the 4th grade, was anxious, defiant and depressed. She was having rages and wanted to die. It was horrible. She is now getting As and Bs, is taking responsibility for her meds and her school/homework and is happy and fun again. I know we still have puberty to go through and other issues will come up from time to time, but with the collective experience here, I know we will get through these as well.

Thank You.

I've only been around a couple of weeks but you guys have saved my sanity countless times already.  Sometimes even when I don't feel like posting, just reading your posts makes me think "I AM NOT ALONE!". I think my son feels the same way, he knows there are other people in the world like him too. The marble system has really helped too and I can already see a diference in my kids just after putting them on supplements recommended here.

So I can reiterate Vickie's feelings. Thank you ALL!

This does seem to be a very supportive board.  I'm glad I found it, too!
