Whew....we made it the 1st day!! | ADHD Information

 Glad to hear today went so well!! Wow, what a change!!  My nightmare challenge from this mornings post, who took her medicine....finally, had the most beautiful day!!!!!!!  She actually cleaned her room (without being asked), helped clean the kitchen (again, without being asked), she played very nicely with the neighbor kids, & she behaved great at the grocery store (it was a short trip).  I can definately tell that the medicine is starting to wear off now.  She is still being very good, but she is getting very very fidgety & is unable to sit still & she is starting to jabber a LOT!!  The whole appetite thing I can tell is going to be a challenge.....she did not eat any lunch & still says she is not even hungry (great & dinner is right around the corner).  I hope she sleeps well tonight!  She came up to me earlier and told me "Mom, this is great.  I don't have to try even that hard to be good".  I am so excited & relieved because today for the first time in a long time, I saw my baby again!! I hope it continues.Good to hear!

Hopefully the appetite issue will diminish for her as it has for some others....at least she sees for herself the difference it has made in the way she feels.  

Chase did as well...he calls it his "sweet pill" as he takes it each morning.
