vickie39036.8396527778I've been on Concerta (54 mg) for several yrs. And after my last stay in a "rehab" to adjust my meds and self inflicted
wounds,the dr. put me on Daytrana(30 mg).I found the patch to work alot better than Concerta..however..even with my copay the patches cost me every month..So on my last doc visit, I told my doc that even though the Daytrana ptch worked alot better for me ,I couldn't afford the copay.
So..she put me back on Concerta..I noticed the differance right away..Bottom line.. I can't afford the patches.. the Concerta is not as effective..so I want to know what else I can take...I've tried Strattera and NOTHING with that med..I also have to mention that I also take Ritalin @ 4:30 pm while taking Concerta @ 6 am.What other meds are there to take?? At my next visit I will talk wif my doc about taking Tenex..
However,another prob is that my doc doesn't really listen..she just nods her head and writes.. For example.. Last visit I felt she wasn't paying attention, so I told her that I gave a homeless guy a blowjob and she just nodded and asked me what past meds I took(again??)I'm getting sick of looking for the right doc..The one doc I did like.. my hubby, (and family)will not let me see again,because he thinks he OVER medicated me..which in reality..I wasn't 100% honest wif that doc..so I feel it was more my fault..this past doc listened to me n didn't have to keep lookin' in his "file" to remember me or our past sessions..
