I am a 17 year old female with ADHD. I am kinda embarssed about this but sometimes at night while I am sleeping I wake up and my pillow is wet. I was wondering that if my medication that I am taking causes me to drool at night while I am sleepin?
I have no idea. How wet is it. Does this happen after drinking alchohol. Are you extremely tired lately.
Dont be embarrassed, I am sure everyone has had a good sleeping drool before. There are reasons for it, drunkeness, overtired, sick, overproductive salivary glands.
The good news it is wont kill ya. And it is not uncommon.

I've been on adderall xr for four years and I get drool at night sometimes too. I never drooled before the meds so I guess it's a side effect. I usually don't do it when I'm asleep but right before I doze off I catch myself doing it occasionally usually when I'm really tired. Pretty much I just think it's gross wipe my mouth and go back to bed.I know that lately I have not been sleeping all that well lets just say that...I have been having so many nightmares that I don't get enough sleep now and then I am cranky in the morn...especially when i am up around 7 am for work before school....I have asked a doc whether my drooling is from my meds or not I know that I take valporic acid 2 times a day once in the morn and before I got to bed.. then I take slow release ritilan in the morn with just a regular ritilan...at lunch I take another slow release...so is it maybe form taking to much meds???Hey again nelby,
