Hi
I desperately need to ask for everyone’s' help. I am in the UK and am
an adult with ADHD. My consultant psychiatrist recently died unexpectedly and I
having difficulty in tracking down another consultant who understands/is
willing to treat adult ADHD.
Any suggestions please?

yeah thanks im going to get back in touch with my doctor to find out who i will be seeing because last year i spent months visiting a psycologest (sorry about bad spelling) this time its psychiatrist i dont even know the differance
have you had any luck in finding a new consultant?
i am in scotland aberdeen,there is only one here.i would ask your gp to refer you to a new one or phone nhs and ask for the adult mental health departement and ask them if they have one.hi
im from liverpool in the uk and my doctor has sent me to a pysc, i did ask for her to send me to a adhd specialist, but i will have to wait till i get my appointment through to see if he/she is specialist in adhd what county do you live in? good luck
