I felt like crying last week and this week is much much better. Thanks to all the postings..They truely helped. Thank you thank you.
I do have one question. If a child has ADHD, will they stop having the normal signs of ADHD for a couple of days/weeks? or does a child with ADHD always show signs everyday? I am sure this doesn't make sense.
My ds (hasn't been diagnosed/having him tested) was like a tornado for two weeks straight almost manic if that makes any sense. Then like a light switch turning off he just stopped. For the last four days, he has been mellow, polite, focused, listening....you name it... Is this normal for a child that has ADHD? I have noticed that this happens with him. He will have a few weeks of crazy behavior then about 2-3 weeks for normal behavior and then back to crazy behavior.
This should be discussed with a neuropsych or child psychiatrist. My daughter used to have good and bad times at school but always showed the same activity level. Hopefully others with different experiences will answer soon.

Could be some emerging mood disorder where kids have good and bad weeks/days. ADHD is fluent.
