I'm new to the boards. I have a 8 year old son who is ADHD. Have tried Concerta and Adderall. Now on Ritalin fast acting (two doses of 10mg each). Working pretty well for several months, but now seems to not be enough. Pediatrician wants to start him on Straterra in the morning along with the Ritalin. I'm just not comforatable with all this medication and all the Straterra warnings. Just looking for feedback from anyone using both Ritalin and Strattera. Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks! Diane
My DD is 9, and was on Concerta when she started Strattera, Concerta is methylphenidate, same as ritalin in a longer acting form. it is commone for both to be prescribed and used at the same time.
