	change of strattera dosing I posted earlier that DS was having stomach issues with strattera, called the dr. yesterday and we don't want to toss the med to the side. So we are going to try 10mg, at breakfast and 10 at lunch or in the afternoon.. Does any one else take it like this? We had our parent teacher conference today and he is managing pretty well in school on this med... What is his weight? 10 mgs is a typical starter dose. Strattera is dosed at 1.2-1.8 mgs per kil(2.2lbs) body weight.. How long is your ramp period to target dose? Straterra is commonly taken twice a day however. I agree with Edbson. The initial studies of strattera were done with twice daily dosing. It was then only studied as once daily, because if someone only has to take it once daily, it saves them from having to remember two pills in a day - and results in better compliance to taking the medication.
