I need some answers please | ADHD Information

my son is six and has been on guanfacine (tenex) sence he was three for adhd.  we are now learning that some of the things that he has talked about or that we have noticed are side effects of the meds.  we have app set for both the family doc and a shrink to solve the problem. but i would like some info backing us up when we go because these are the same docs that put him on it, or the same clinics. we dont have much of a choice were we live.    But the biggest issue we are having is he will come into our room at nite and try to fill me up or rub on me.  i know its not the easiest subject to talk about trust me i know!  but has anyone else delt with this and could it be the meds.  we have a friend that their son was doing the same thing but to his sister but when thay changed him from guanfacine that behavior stopped.  if anyoe can help me i would love it.

Tell your doctor about this problem.  Some kids are hypersexual and there are meds that can help with this, and therapy can help also.  Use an Internet search engine (I prefer Google) and type in a few keywords about his problems.  You will get tons of info. 

And go to rxlist.com to find out all the side effects of any meds your son is on.  Doctors don't know them all and the patient info package insert is very limited.
