i no this is an adhd message board but thought id share this with you. for those of you who not have read my post before my 12y old son was dx at age 8 with adhd and is doing well on 50ml of ritalin each day. im in the process of being tested for adhd for myself. my 7y old son as been seeing adhd doctor since he was 2y old every 6 months. ive always knew he was a speical boy but dintnt think he had adhd (im no doctor but when you have another child with adhd you just know) he was dx with APERGERS last week id never heard of this before then, after looking on line it seems that aspergers can be mistaken for adhd, an some people can have both. my 12y old as dispraxia with his adhd. dose anyones son or daughter or yourself have this aspergers along side there adhd?

I just finished up teaching at a school just for kids with autism and asperger's ... If you need any help, write back and let me know. ADHD and Asperger's are both neurological disorders and go along together quite often. One theory is that adhd+ocd yeilds asperger's and autism. very similar characteristics. what kind of interventions are you doing for your child w/ aspergers? :)
