It's funny that you mention that because I just heard the same thing about the CHADD magazine.
i have been getting ADDitude for about 5 years now and never had a problem. I love it, but a lot of the articles are more for the adults than children and most of the things in the past year seem to be like they have ran out of things to talk about, so they just through things in there to make it thick. (does that make any since to any one else?) I'm thinking about canceling it. I get more out of the internet than i do the mag.I cancelled mine. I am keeping the old subscriptions as reference because they are useful, but I know what you mean about running out of material.
Yes, CHADD receives money from medical companies also. I wish they didn't. It seems kind of unethical, or at the least, makes their opinion on meds and alternative treatments invalid. I don't see how they could maintain objectivity.
I attempted to subscribe to ADDitude through their site on-line and ended up getting a monthly domain name charge on my card!! And no magazine to boot! So I gave up on that idea.I called and subscribed to the paper mag. They asked for my email. I stopped the paper subscription but still get the electronic version via email.
