Lying / Stealing | ADHD Information

My daughter is a very smooth con.  Last week she offered to "help" a second grader at the book fair by holding her .00 for her.  When it came time for the 2nd grader to pay for her books, my daughter told her she had lost her money.  After the 2nd graders left the library, my daughter went back in there and spent the money and the change she got she spent in the lunch room.

When the principal asked her if she knew she was going to take the girls money when she offered to help her, my daughter said "yeah".  I was just floored when the principal called me.

She has stolen money from my purse and my car.  She has stolen other kids homework, erased their name, wrote her name on the paper and turned it in....

95% of what she says to me is a lie and I do not know what to do about the lying and stealing..........I have no use for a liar or a thief and it is just really hard for me to deal with.  I am the type that would rather tell you the truth and hurt your feelings than lie to you.

My son has never taken money from another student, but he has taken money out of my purse or my car. My son also lies alot to try to get out of trouble but we seem to always catch him (he isnt very good lol).

Children try to get away with different things and test the waters, make it clear to her that if you are caught stelaing or lying your punshiment will be worst then if you were honest.
