Just wanted to let you know..there was a jeopardy (a game show that only REALLY smart people go on) question on who is the president of Venezuela. I would never have known the answer if not for you...so even I learned something from you...your son is bound to do well!!

Yesterday I received my ds's report card. I am very satisfied with the results. He has had tremendous improvement in social skills. I was impressed that he got an A+ in behavior, this means there is no more impulsiveness as last year; A+ in respect for rules; A+ in responsibility; and A+ in courtesy. In the academic part he has done a very good job in almost all areas, Spelling A+ also. Another aspect that called my attention is A+ in expressing ideas and using adequate vocabulary; this was so hard for him before.
The only thing that wasn't so good was "Autonomy". As I was speaking today with his teacher she told me that my ds still needs supervision from his teachers when he is working to make sure that he is following instructions correctly. The English teacher also told me that he has some difficulty in understanding spoken language as well as using it (English, remember that we are Spanish native speakers); however he has been most successful in Spelling. Concentration still needs to be better, but I am sure it will be very soon!!!
In conclusion, I think I can celebrate with my ds. I am very happy with results. The aspects that still need improvement don't concern me a lot, since they are being worked by therapies and home reinforcement, and I think that they will be better at a given moment.
I am happy, happy, real happy.
. My son deserves a prize!!!!!
