Thank God finally | ADHD Information

our first school system the first school he was in was a mess, they only did what they had to and then it was just barely...and that rook lots of fighting.That is thrilling news! I'm very happy for you and you son. I love to hear the good news!

Finally after 2 years of fighting with once school system, we move to another for this school year and oh my goodness thatnk heavens from day one they are workign with us not against us. Yesterday we met to renew his IEP and reavail. things adn they with out a fight (matter of fact they offered) to hire a parapro to put in Codys class to help him, and pull out for 2 hours a day..and hopefully with this all in place it helps behavior on his ODD and ADHD as well as put him back on track educationally!! I am so impressed with this school and the county we live in adn so greatful for all they have done.

Good for you and DS!!  I am fortunate to live in an area with a great school system as well.  It really makes a ton of difference.  I really feel for those that have to deal with schools that don't care or are not able to support the children and families for special needs.  It is not right!What county and state do you live in if you don't mind me asking

But how do you know/ or did you know which school was better and why?   Is it a public school?  

Do they specialize in kids with SN?   How do we go about finding a good match as you did?
