Thank you so much for referring both those web sites. It is hard enough to medicate my child without fully knowing what he's being medicated for. Both those web sites were really imformative. The bpkids site really explained what symptoms a child with bipolar disorder suffers and my son had most, if not all symptoms. Thank you again for the information. At least, I believe now, we are on the right track to helping my son and the rest of our family cope with his diagnosis.

My 7 year old son has been recently diagnosed with a mood disorder. What exactly does that encompass? I was thinking that he is bipolar, and had a tic problem. That was solved when we put him on clonodine. But I can't find any information on mood disorders. Any help?? Thanks.
