Doing DisneyWorld with ADD | ADHD Information

Share

As an ADD adult (inattentive) and 2 kids who possibly have it, I am struggling with planning a vacation to Disney World.  I hate lines and waiting but my kids are at the perfect age for going.  I've heard Spring Break is a good time to go if you can't take the kids out of school.

Can someone offer advice on doing DisneyWorld?  Anything to make it less painful for those with ADD? The only thing I know is to be sure and get the FastPass.

Personally, I'd rather do some adventure or active vacation but the kids really want to go to DisneyWorld.

This is what I would do. Go on a weekday if possible. Be there when they open up and hit up all your favorite rides you want to go on first. Make sure you and the kidz are already well fed and toileted.
After it gets full take some breaks inbetween ,rest and tank up. if they fight about which ride to go on- then take turns.

Very important !!! Make a meeting point if lost (clearly visible !!) and make sure they have your cell phone number on them. i was there on a weekend once(Calif.) and in 12 hrs. only got to go on 6 rides!!!

I love amusement parks and all the rides !!!
