My son takes Zoloft for anxiety, however, he also does therapy.. cognitive behavioral therapy. Anxiety usually responds well to therapy. There are lots of various meds and med combinations for anxiety, but I feel it is not a balanced treatment approach to rely solely on meds. I've read that many times therapy may reduce the need, or eliminate the need, for meds in some cases. Okiemom
