Has anyone tried Desoxyn | ADHD Information

Ive tried them all, methylphenidate amphetamine etc. except methamphetamines (desoxyn).

Has anyone tried this and if so please let me know how it worked for you in regards to your ADD/ADHD.I've tried EVERY type of medication and I always experienced a slight improvement with my ADHD symptoms but nothing notable enough to stay on that medication.  So my doctor prescribed me Desoxyn which is used as the "second line/last resort" for EXTREME cases.  I must say all of my symptoms have improved ten fold. For the first time in my life, I have been getting 100%'s on my tests in school and I finally feel normal.   I have experienced the best response from Desoxyn.  The only downfall is not many pharmacies carry that medication so it takes a long time to find the pharmacy that has it or will order it for you.  But if you haven't experienced any improvements with the other medications, Desoxyn is DEFINITELY something to try because it was the only medication that worked for me. Asking a doctor for Desoxyn is likely going to get you kicked out for drug seeking behavior. It might be better to print out some success stories about it such as the one above and show your doc and let him review your case. Just dont go in there like "Yo doc!, write me up a script for Desoxyn I heard it works good!". Too bad most ppl have never even heard of it before, this med can work wonders for ADDers who dont respond to other stims.heres the bottom line on desoxyn. there is no way of knowing what adhd med will work the best for someone, its all trial and error. when i asked my doctor for desoxyn he said he and none of his collegues prescribe it. i thought to my self if there is no way of telling what medication will work the best for someone there is no way in hell i will not exaust my options in trying to make my life better. so i said f**k it i dont give a sh*t if i have to get it any way possible so i can determine if it will work beter than ritalin or adderall and i did. i wont tell you how i did it but i tried it and it did not work better than ritalin so i didnt try it again. the bottom line is dont ever give up regardless is some prick says no to you when you know for a fact that everyone is different. adhd people are some of the smartest people in the world so if you want to try it to determine if it will work for you do it and dont have any guilt about trying it. my advice is play by the rules but when the rules go against common sense break them and dont give a f**k about doing it when it comes to your quality of life.
