HELP! LOST my ritilan prescription! | ADHD Information

The doc will understand, heck you are adhd.  You are not the first to do that.  We all have done it, and many of us have done it more than once.  Doctor's are used to having many adhd patients loose the script.  Just call his nurse and tell him/her what happened and they will more than likely give you another one with a stern lecture on taking it to the pharmacy right then.

Just call the doctor and explain to him/her what had happened.  If the doctor gets nasty and gives you a problem then look for a new one if need be.  People lose scripts all the time you are not the first person nor the last.

I agree with all of the above.  Call the doctor.  Mine doesn't even write prescriptions anymore.  She types them in on her computer, then auto-faxes them to my pharmacy.  And my son's doc calls the pharmacy.

Ask the doctor for a new copy.  He/she'll say yes.

Your doctor should be able to write you another scipt.  I get mine sent to me each month.  One month it didn't come so they wrote me another.

I do things like that all the time ... just had to ask my son's new school for another copy of the school documentation.  I suggest ring the doc and see what he says. Perhaps he can fax it to you or to the drug store.  After all the doc knows you're adhd right? So losing the script shouldn't really surprise him that much ...

My 8yo loses EVERYTHING, he leaves a trail around wherever he goes!  After school hols we have had to collect things from three of his friends houses as well as from the swimming teacher ...

i was given my first prescription for ritilin(LA) today for ADD and when i went home with the script i was distracted with something and i lost the prescription. i think it might have fallen out of my pocket or thrown in the trash. i have spent the last 5 hours looking everywhere and i cant find it. the doc had given me a sticker on it that gave me the month for free. since this is a classII narcotic i know my doc just wont write me another script. what do i do???? do i have to wait another 30 days to start this stuff because of my dumb mistake??
