HELP! LOST my ritilan prescription! | ADHD Information

i was given my first prescription for ritilin(LA) today for ADD and when i went home with the script i was distracted with something and i lost the prescription. i think it might have fallen out of my pocket or thrown in the trash. i have spent the last 5 hours looking everywhere and i cant find it. the doc had given me a sticker on it that gave me the month for free. since this is a classII narcotic i know my doc just wont write me another script. what do i do???? do i have to wait another 30 days to start this stuff because of my dumb mistake?? Just call the doctor and grovel. I lost my daughter's script last month and the doctor gave me another.
