from the little i've read here it seems like they pair up tenex with other meds than adderall,adderall is the drug my son's dr likes he says its cleaner. it seems like the tenex is doing ok but everytime he takes it he said his head hurts really bad.
How long has your son taken the adderall? I have seen headache as a side effect from it, also adderall (and all of the stimulants) can be dehydrating, and headache is a symptom of that as well. Try to get your son to drink more fluids to see if that helps.
What dosage of tenex is he on, and was it brought up slowly to that dosage? My ped said that the main undesirable side effects of tenex, would be nausea and dizziness. Maybe the dosage needs titrated up more slowly, and once his body adjusts to it the headaches will cease...
Talk to the doctor about this. Your son may be sensitive to the bp effects of the med, which is unusual, but happens. It may be that you need to go to 1/4mg doses until he adjusts to it. If the Tenex is having positive effects, it is worth working with it to see if you can get past the side effects (they should be temprorary).
