HI , I HAVE BEN WAITING FOR A REFERAL FOR 1- 1/2 YEARS, IF YOU ARE ALSO WAITING OR HAVE DIAGNOSIS FROM THE mAUDSLEY PLEASE REPLY.

my doctor told me 6 month waiting list so might be worth you phoning them up and se  where you are on the list

 hi   the problem that i am having is getting the referal on the move, my dr was to send imfo about me in october  to maudsley  .      i sent  A4 letter with additional info on it to dr  maybe sit tight a few more weeks.
I will be made up to go to clinic but afraid of being a gunia pig,as i don't know what they will want from me?
i am also a mum of two ,i now need time for me.

has ur doctor confirmed that he sent the referal in october

if  so could you give maudsley a ring get them to find your referal and have put in your notes a contacted address or tell your doctor

 then he could phone you to let you no when appointment is due if you dont have a perminant address

i want to help my kids so much more and better than i do now and i feel i cant help them the best untill i gett help for myself if u no wot i mean
