Depression when Ritalin wears off ?

Hi, I also am on Concerta in the AM ritalin in the afternoon.  I was always up and down then my Dr added prozac to my meds and that really helped the anger and depression.  Maby you can discuss anti depressants with your pych.  I know they use several different combos to help depression.

If your meds are working other than depression you should definatly discuss it with your dr.  Good luck.

I think I realized Ritalin is definetly not going to work. I am going to go to the doctor tommorow.

I can be quite honest to say ive never felt so depressed until I started on Ritalin. I am  perscribed to take 3 10mg doses a day and by night time im done the 3 doses and as soon as it wears off I get really depressed. I am positive this is from the Ritalin and I am not going to take anymore then what the doctor said.

Does anyone recommend something that works similar to ritalin but doesnt cause depression after it wears off  and is available in Canada ?
