strattera question | ADHD Information

What does any one know about dosing and strattera.   I was on 40mg for 6 weeks, but had not noticed any real great benefits, so My dr. uped it to 60mg.  Well for the 3 weeks on 60 has been worse then on the 40.  Like no meds at all.  so I called my dr. and she wants me to go back down to 40 and try to kick it up with adderall(I don't like adderall due to flat affect) 
Is going up to 80mg to high?  I am a 265lb women.  I have always needed lots of meds to get them to work.

Strattera is dosed by weight....I am not sure of the formula, but I am sure that someone will supply it....
