Home-based Careers for ADD/ADHD? | ADHD Information

The one I am doing is kind of like marketing I guess. The parent company does the sales, and you bring the people who are interested in their services. I think I should be okay with it, but I get very impatient. I am not on medication either. I keep promising myself I will go to a psychiatrist eventually LOL.

I started one, and it was moderately successful, but I went back to a job in the end, it didn't pay well enough. I was not on meds at the time and didn't have the wherewithal to get the paperwork done, or get ads to the media on time, etc. As a result I was always late on my sales tax payments and stuff like that. It was extremely difficult for me.

On the other hand, it felt great to have my own business. I think if I was on top of my ADD like I am now (more or less) it would've been much different.

I was wondering if anyone in this forum has successfully started any home-based business (NOT any get rich quick scams). I started the Procard thing back in 2003, but never actually did any of the work up until now. They are telling me it takes time, but my day job sure is driving me nuts and the short attention span I have doesn't help matters much. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I know it doesn't happen quickly, but I wanna start making money on the side and eventually do that full time instead of my 9-5 type job. My problem is I get bored in any job I work in, no matter what it is, but when I do my own projects, I can keep myself entertained.
