adderall xr question | ADHD Information

as stated before my 7 year old was put on 5mg of adderall xr on Thursday last week.  So first 2 days very emotional (crying, moody) at home but at school Friday was cooperative and friendly according to the teacher.  Over the weekend, I found a angry boy on occassion.  He would say something mean to me then be all nice. Moody.  But I found it wasn't directed at daddy and he didn't once bug his older brother (which was a non-stop event before!).  I am hoping this is just the adjustment period and will go away but am wondering if others experienced this also. I think maybe he sees me as the one who says "lets do some homework" on the weekends or "making husband give him his meds" etc.  Maybe he perceives me right now as the "bad guy" most of the time but then he comes up and cuddles, affectionate, and loving.
