Well I finally quit work... | ADHD Information
I finally did it. I quit my job of almost 5 years to go to a more ADD friendly type career. I do accounting right now, but I begged my manager to put me back in customer service because it requires no deadlines & I only have to concentrate for a phone call. After 3 attempts and still no resolution I decided to move on. I have never been able to make these decisions without the "right place at the right time" kinda thing happening. A person I see daily on the way to work asked me if they could drop my resume by their office and I said sure. Sure enough, I am hired and I start next week doing customer service. Much better benefits & I get to do the work I want to do. Work that will stop me from being bored & won't require me to make deadlines. I think it will be much better.
