Hi everyone, I started Adderall XR 20mg today for ADD. I took it for the first time this morning 5 hours ago and it is really hyping me up, very similar to the way pseudoephedrine does, which I do not like. I am one who is usually very sensitive to certain types of side effects. For example, if a drug says "may cause drowsiness," it usually does for me. Likewise with drugs that hype you up. Can anyone tell me if this effect goes away after a few days or so? It’s still too early to say if it’s helping my ADD yet, although my morning was productive at work. But if feeling hyped up like this going to be the case, then this drug is certainly not the answer. Can anyone shed any light on this?
