Adderall XR - 10mg - 30mg | ADHD Information

I've been currently taking Effexor XR 75mg for the past month and recently was prescribed Adderall XR in 10mg capsules. According to my psychiatrist, I should try one at first, if that doesnt work, take two, then three accordingly.

I am now up to three a day and I feel as if it isnt really working as it should. From what I have read, I think that taking 3 - 10mg Adderall XR capsules is not as effective as, say, taking 1 - 30mg Adderall XR.

I have also read that Venlafaxine, the active ingredient in Effexor XR, may have issues with Adderall XR as far as performance goes. I am thinking that I might switch to Adderall IR instead for better concentration. As far as I can tell, my concentration is not much better on the XR than it was without it.
