new interests on meds? | ADHD Information

Has anyone taking meds become more interested in new things, or things they had no interest in before, when they are medicated vs. not medicated? It takes so much effort for me to find something I enjoy and can stick with, 9/10 times eveything just seems boring. Do meds stimulate your interest? I am starting on 10 mg. Focalin XR tomorrow AM.I find that I love to learn about anything while I am on my meds. It makes even the most boring classes seem interesting to me. I can really walk away from my philosophy class and say ive learned something because the meds allowed me to pay much better attention that I normally would have. Also I find that I really enjoy my current interests much more than before. I think it all goes along with improved concentration allows you to take much more out of something than you would otherwise.  juicebox, what meds are you taking?
