My 13 yr old ds has discovered girls! He has become girl CRAZY in the last 2 months. Gee, the kid has enough trouble in the boy to boy social world, and now he's adding girls to the list! I think many get annoyed by him because he is certainly not shy when it comes to telling them he likes them. And doesn't want to take no for an answer.
Just wondering how other kids did at this age in this area. And if and how they improved as they got older. I realize it is an awkward time for all kids.
Well getting into girls is a natural normal thing I just hope no girl breaks his heart. I am teaching my 7 year old who likes a boy to keep it to herself and tell no one but mom. I would also add it is time for the daddy son talk so he understands and learns how to take NO for an answer and pick a time when you have his attention. Maybe you can role play with him to help. Good luck. It is normal for any kid at that age to develope crushes, and have their first boyfriend or girlfriend. Just remember what your hormones were doing at that age.
