Hello, thanks for your reply, im gonna get some questions ready and give u a mail if thats ok?

Anyone else?

Ill give it a go if you need another person.I have the full blown adult adhd if you need a gerbil, lol, I will help. Hello all, I am adult with ADHD and dyslexia. I started taking Ritalin about a year ago which has changed my life and I just started going to college in September and I need your help please.

I am doing a research project on ADHD for college and I want to know what people think about having the condition. Is it a Disorder or a Gift? ADHD or ADHG? I decided to do this project to learn to accept my own ADHD and listen to other people’s views on the condition both positive and negative. I feel ADHD in adults is not very well known or understood, there are loads of websites with different information but I want to know peoples personal experience and views.

Before I start my project I wanted to know if people would be happy to answer some questions about the condition? I want to do a questionnaire for people to fill out. Would anyone be willing to do it? Has anyone got any idea’s to help? I am new to all this academic stuff so any help would be appreciated!
Hello! Thanks for everyone who said they could help me. i have emailed everyone who left the post. Here is the questions if anyone else could fill it in and send it bk to me, thanks!

Answering her message gave me some insight to my condition. This is how it is with me and what I answered for her. Can anyone relate ?

Other comments: Learned how to deal better with relationships, orginisation, anger.Refuse to take medication and have a hard time with concentration (mostly filtering out distraction if i need to focus on one thing) am mentally exhausted all the time from brain overload.inability to relax physically and mentally-always hyped up or fully exhausted-no balanced in between state. cant sit still for long and feel cornered and trapped in rooms with other people. always have a feeling I need to flee. Seem very calm outwardly -very steady hands-slow graceful movements-but this is all "masked".Need constant mental distraction (television-books-internet) Mind doesn't seem to like keeping company with itself.

Maybe i try to shut down the circus in my head that exhausts me. It's like 8 or more people in my head all at once and they are all talking at the same time about different subjects. (also alot of negative depressing thoughts) That's why I need the distraction so that they listen and look and shut up.

I would be willing but remember -not all of us may be ADD. We may just have symptoms mimicking ADD ,even if diagnosed.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I might have to add that into the questionnaire then, thank you. Anyone else willing to fill in some questions? Any other feedback? Please help!

Hi

I have adult add and would really love to help.  I have almost finished a psychology degree.  I would really love to know how many people know that there is inattentive add without hyperactivity as the media always focuses on that as the main symptom.
