Generating/Managing Hyper-Focus | ADHD Information

music is what i use, i got an mp3 player with 2 or 3 sound tracks to get me to that state, i am carful about useing them tho, i tend to pay for it if i keep it up for more then a few hours 9 hours at most. i do have one problem when i do that, sometimes i find something that isent perfect and i will keep looping back to make it so, it also tends to make me prone to outbursts of anger

ok, well, i knoticed that certin songs when i hear them use to make me more inside, i'm sorry i dont have a word for the fealing, so i use to keep replaying them over and over agian, and yes those do ware out,

normaly there songs that are captureing in there patern of music insterments or the vocals lend a message i can feal

when i got my first computer and discovered play lists i use to make sound tracks to play games to to set my mood pace and i found that it helped my preformance alot

my brother dose the same thing but our tasts dont match very often, although he pointed me to band called "Nightwish" and its worth a listen imo

later i discovered i could do that at work i could do that and i could focus on my job quite well, and btw under any cirmistances i do not deal well with in activity or lack of stimulation

but with doing that i am in an extreamly wired state, my mind is moveing a dosen times faster then i am use to, i am seeing couses of failures in the itams i work on and  all the inter-relations of that bastard optic/mechanic/electric devices.

 and it has let me to be able to skip 90% of the tests, look at its raw preformance, find the problem parts, replace, and then go back to the procudure by the book for the final test,

but back to the topic, when i'm listening to music i tend to over focus on what i am doing to the point were i am wired to the breaking point, and if i stumble mentaly i get ticked and tend to have a small outburst, normaly vocal, but if its a bad part tho it might become a projectile (only with bad parts)

i do find that my hands will push ...for lack of a better word, will just push air away from me or shake tho if i am to focused,

this is also something i will not do if i am under emotinal stress, when i am doing this i understand i am giveing my mind a focus and going after this focus with lunitic intesty, if i am...say worried about my gf being in the hosptical i end up steping out back to collaps when my mind adhd style see's a thousand bad things that could be happinging to her right now and the effects of those

what i would find strange tho is if i am the only one who has learned how to use one of the few positive traits of adhd to his advantage,

my brother has a nic name for when i'm doing that, he calls it my ocd loop, normaly its when i am cycleing though a task to fine tune a unit, well after its already in specs. when i am doing that i do tend to jerk around alot with out meaning it, other people tend to avoid me durren this time, i am semi prone to outbursts vocaly afterwords, i also tend to talk to my self or the unit i am working on alot more then normal

on the bright side i can do this on a monday, and have a weeks worth of work done in one day, assumeing i have preped parts ready for alignment

this isent everything, but its what i can recall atm, i will try to pay attention next time i do it, it dose get very tireing and once i stall out of it i am basicly worthless for the rest of the day

i loved it when i finally got a computer and started using email

 

the bullet   it was like  a micro god said  let there be points to understand the bullets helped me focus in  on things i can put bullets on blank sides of business cards keep them in a stack in drawer  and take one a day in my pocket and practice  finding instance to apply the bullet info the bullets on a card trick to change or make new habits seems like a good idea    hyperfocus    bullets    prompt cards   oh my
