Daytrana -has anyone ever cut the patch | ADHD Information

My daughter is on 10mg right now, but I am thinking that she needs to get 15mg. Has anyone else ever cut the patch in half??I know that I have read both...that some have cut the patch and that it should not be cut....do a search for the "Daytrana anyone?"  thread...it is quite a few pages long, and I think that the cutting is duscussed there....thanks! Daytrana is available in a 15mg patch.Definitely go and ask the doctor for a 15 mg. patch. I wouldn't mess around
with cutting it.daytrana comes in 10, 15, 20 and 30 mgs. I HAVE cut it before, with no problems, but that was during the med trials, and I would not do it again without being directed to.my son is on daytrana and it comes in a 15 mg patch . he has been taken down to 10mg on 03/09/07  mgs are 5 10 15 20....
