Marshmellow Fights | ADHD Information

I learned about this from a friend at church whose son has ADHD and is BiPolar.  She said that when they get into one of those moods where they are stomping and yelling, and just in a foul mood.  Take out marshmellows and throw them at them.  She said in a matter of moments they are throwing marshmellows back at you and laughing and giggling and what ever they were angry about seems to disappear.  I thought this was such a great idea.  A) they are vey inexpensive B) No matter how hard you throw them you can't really damage anything in the house.

I just thought I would share.  We  have a bag on hand now and I am just waiting to see how well it actually works. I can't believe I am saying this but I am anxious awaiting the next time he stomps down the hallway.

This is cute.  I have done this before with my son but with socks.  (They just happened to be in my reach.)  My problem is he whipped them back at me so socks weren't the answer.  It worked though after he whipped two socks back at me.  In the winter my son will ask to go outside and throw snowballs when he is mad.
