Here's the fact's that I know, which in my case, may not be much, but is in need of sharing.  O.K. So we are risk takers and partiers and do before the brain engages...... jump in first, figure it out second......ok

I took my son(add) with me to donate blood in 2000 (nov), because he was a woossey about needles and blood.

I get thank-you letter from Red Cross and figure it's a.....thanks for the blood, when u comming again, or maybe....... can we register your organs for donation.....u know, JUNK mail. My twin opens it and my world ends. I got a hepatitis virus. C?????

How many they got?, unfortunately, many and I am currently on treatment. Untill you take this treatment, you dont know what brain fog is....

and because of our ( ME TOO ) Risky

behaviors at times in our lives, you should be tested. you can go to HCVETS.COM and get info on free testing but, the long and short of it, if you ever GOT a transfusion before 1992, had an operation, was vaccinated in the military with an airjet gun-inoculator (you'll remember it too!), tatooed, piercings, iv drugs even 1 time (illegal), cut w glass from a car wreck (autobody workers)... all healthcare and first responders. get tested. Treatment sucks, but drinking brings on a slow death by cirrhosis or liver cancer, and early treatment has the best chance for a cure.Ouch

A member of my family has Hep C, and a couple of friends.
It's spreading  like wildfire. I saw how the inteferon works and how grumpy and foggy one can get.
My ex has it too . When i heard the news I got tested right away and am luckily free. I was so afraid that I had it too. Supposedly if you live healthy you don't have any real symptoms.
A friend of ours had it for ten years and didn't know it. Next thing he's having a liver transplant.
