Hi..we went to a new psychiatrist today. He was really great..he spent over an hour with us going over my 11 yr old son's entire history. He had been Concerta for the ADHD, Celexa for depression/anxiety, Risperdal for moos and Clonidine to help him sleep. The doctor felt we needed to shake it up a bit..
He stayed with the Concerta 54mg, added 1mg of Tenex for the anxiety and impulsive behaviors, 12.5...and moving up to 25MG of Paxil CR for the Depression and the Ambien to help him sleep. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with Paxil CR. He feels it's far superious for depression/anxiety then Celexa. He took away the Risperdal altogther...he feels it's not needed...that it's overkill right now and he wants to try this other combination.
Any thoughts?
