Wellbutrin for ADD?
My pediatrician will not prescribe anti-depressants for children with ADHD. Recently, studies have shown that children and teens taking anti-depressants have a HIGHER suicide rate.

I am hearing a lot about Wellbrutin being precriped for ADD. Does anyone have any information on how it works?if you go to welbutrin.com you will find a lot of info and an offer for a 10 dollar coupon off the next purchase. I got some samples today and have a prescription for Welbutrin for ADD. I hope it helps. My son is going to try starting it tommorow. He's 7. He's starting with 1/2 pill once a day in a.m. 50mg I believe. It is for ADHD and has an anti-depressant also in it. I will let you know how he does. I would like to know if anyone has had success with it too.Yeah Welbutrin is an Anti-depressant. It's actually one of the only ones I haven't tried yet.
