I took concerta for a year or so, up to 64mg per day i believe. Got off it for about 6 months. Got back on it the other day and it literally turned me into a zombie to the point where I barely remember what I did that day. Last time I took the meds I was fine.
Can your body react differently over time to meds?
I am off them for now till I go to my next apmnt with my dr. I meet with her one time a month. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this with Concerta.

Also there is no 64mg; did you mean 54?Last time i ramped up 18mg, then 36mg, then 54mg. This time I went right to the 36mg. I did that for a week and all i wanted to do was sleep and lay around. It took away all of my ADHD tendicies but it also got rid of every thing else too.It may be that your body needs the ramp up tiime to ajust. Talk to the doc about this and how to work with it.
