Has this ever happened to you? | ADHD Information

Hey everyone, I have a question for any of you guys. This past weekend I made a careless mistake and left my meds in the car. Needless to say they melted into one glob along with some of my kids crayons (we were traveling). I don't normally leave my meds in the car. In any event I called my Dr.'s office when we returned to see if I had any options or if I needed to wait until my next visit. Well, apparently by throwing what I thought was garbage away I committed a pharmaceutical sin. I was told by my Dr.'s nurse that it was in my best interest to "dig through the trash" if I wanted to see my Dr. again. I've never given my Dr. any reason (in 9 months) to treat me that way. I've gotten the name of the facility manager and plan on calling him to voice my concern over the way I was treated. I've never felt so belittled in all my life. Has anyone ever had an issue similar to this one? If so, what did you do?
