zonegran?? | ADHD Information

The zonegran is suppose to be for the bipolar. He was going to give him trileptal (msp??)  but it has a side effect of rash  We'll see...thanks for responding.I have never heard of it being used for BP, only epilepsy. But with Bi polar and ADHD the BP has to be treated first, and lots of kids with BP cannot tolerate stims.

My son is being treated for ADHD and Bipolar...he has been on depakote, seroquel and Focalin for the last 2 months. but his outbursts and emotional issues continue. So the doc changed the depakote to Zonegan (zonisamde). He said he has great success with this drug....any one using this on their child?/ My son is 7.
