Neldy, are there no programmes in the states for young mums? I thought there were schools available for mums with bubs - day cares attached?
Perhaps you may need to consider moving to a state or city that accomodates this.
Are there any organisations that you could contact that deal with minors with dependants, other than the foster system.
I applaud you for finishing school, and where there is a will there is a way, hang in there and dont stop looking for alternatives.
If u have any ideas for me plz private message mehow old is your child?Just recently I thought I would try her in darcare and well they called the other day saying she is no longer welcomed there because she has been acting up...and well I ahve no idea wat to do because I go to school all day and I can't quit because I am only in Grade 11....Wat do I do...no one was to babysit her because she doesn't listen...I tryed meds but they didn't work???NOW WAT?????she is 2She's only 2 years old and they say she has been 'acting up'? I'm sorry, but she is just too young to take responsibility for her actions. They can't possibly expect her to sit in a corner.
Can you find another day care center that actually pays attention to your child, tries to entertain her a bit? Maybe an in-home day care would work? Do you have any family that can help you? Sounds like you live in a small town. Maybe there isn't a regular day care near by, but lots of people offer daycare out of their homes. Can you look at that as an option? What about hiring somebody to come into your home to look after her? That option may be too expensive, but you might research it, just in case.I don't trust her with my mom for some reasons...I also live in a foster home...I am think of maybe sending her to her dad...b/c there are no other daycares whereI am and I need my education....I ahve no idea wat to do,......I NEED HELP BEFORE I GO CRAZY
