I’m getting a break!!!!! | ADHD Information

Yippee!!!  My 14 year old is off on a 5 day holiday with his Aunty in Sydney. We live in Australia on the east coast near the beginning of the Great Barrier Reef.   We live about 1700km away  from Sydney in a city of 30,000 people.  She offered to have him for a few days.  He is  quietly excited.  The trip will take 2 hours and as  he is use to planes and he  isn't anxious about the flight.  Just a little concerned that his aunty won't be there to meet him!  So for the first time in 14 years he is going away!!!  I think I will be lost!  I am thinking of something I can do with my 16 year old daughter.  I'm so excited!!!Oh, wow! My sister is a wild catholic nun! She works and lives in the inner part of the city and is just quite mad!!!  (in a good way!)  She has just completed her doctorate on alternative parenting - people with disabilities having children.  So she wants to spend some time with our son to find out what's going on and built up his self-esteem.  We've booked the removal van and we're off!!!!! (only kidding!!!!!!)

 

 

Good for you! Have fun with your daughter, but make sure you do something for you, too. You deserve it and probably need it! Have fun!!!

How wonderful for you.  Does she want my children too?  My son desperately wants to go to Australia as his Uncle went last summer and learned to play the Dijouri Do (SP), and had a wonderful time.  My 11 year old can tell you more about Australia than I can!
