Concerta Questions | ADHD Information

I just started taking Concerta (18mg) and feel like I have a head cold and sore throat.  I know that this is a side effect of the medication, however, how long does it last.  My sinus' feel better once the medicine starts to leave my body - however it sure is unpleasant.  Can I take a sinus medication with the Concerta to help aleve some of the pressure?  I am constantly popping my ears and clearing my throat - kinda driving me looney.  Strattera does that to me too and ended up with a very nasty Ear infection along with severe congestion. (Ear infection so bad that the Dr gave me Augmentin XR 1000mg that I have to take 2 of them Twice a day.. 4000mg a day of antibiotics- can we say EAT A TON of Yogurt?)  I'd check with your Dr since I don't know everything you're taking or medical history.

I do know Concerta's not as bad about drug interactions with decongestants. Strattera pretty much says no to all decongestants, however a Dr allowed me to use Mucinex D and advised me to watch my BP and that it may cause increased heart rate (which it did not do, actually the Pseudophedrine helped my Strattera work more efficiently oddly enough)
