Hello!My name is Nicole Smith and I am a graduate student in the Physical Education department at the University of Victoria. As part of my master's thesis I am conducting a study investigating the effects of physical activity on the behavioral symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. I am looking for parents who have children that have been diagnosed with ADHD and are willing to fill out a short questionnaire about their child's ADHD diagnosis, symptoms and physical activity habits.

Some problem with web-page. there is no link and picture on bottom is missing...

The first link to the consent webpage is working, however, you are right, the picture at the bottom is missing....when formatting the webpage sometimes images do not come out. The picture is only the symbol for the Michael Smith Foundation that is funding my research.

OK, I filled out your survey. I have a question though, you only asked details about strategic sport activities, is there any reason for that?
Another thing is that for many children their training sessions finish so late

First off, thank you for filling out my survey. I appreciate you taking the time to participate. Each participant that contributes information will help out ADHD research that much more!
My survey asks about Leisure Time Physical Activity, as well as structured physical activity. If your child does not participate in any kind of 'structured physical activity' then, the leisure time practices section is your opportunity to report any kind of physical activity that is not structured or planned. This particular research is very much in the first stages, as there is not much peer-reviewed research out there involving physical activity and ADHD. My survey is the first to gather descriptive and preliminary information on physical activity practices for this particular population, in hopes that recommendation for further and more valid research can develop.
Thank you very much for your comments and I will be sure to take them into consideration when analyzing my data. I definitely will be keeping everyone posted on the forums I participate in on the details and results of my research.
