Good Items for ADHD | ADHD Information

It's kind of trial and error--it depends on the child. Some kids can use fidget toys, others are distracted by them. I've heard of weighted lap blankets and weighted toys to help them remember to keep their seats.

I am just trying to find anything good for ADHD.  Toys, things to help wth keeping attention in school.  I am open to anything parents have found to be helpful.

where canyou get those bracelets? I need them.  Im going to walmart tomorrow for my 2 toothbrushes. sorry,(tune brushes)  why didn't someone think of that sooner? great ideas thanks!

Office depot had the bracelets in the beginning of the year with the school supplies....they said they were a seasonal item so I had to order some from the MEAD website.

depending on the age of the child...I have found wrist reminders made by MEAD to be useful...they are paper bracelets that you can write a message on and tear off when the task is completed.also, the new Tune Brushes are great for any child .My son wil now brush his teeth just for the fun of it  ( He has lets get it started by the black eyed peas) and my three year old little girl actually dances while she brushes.  She has walking on sunshine... We got these at Wal-MartI just bumped an old topic "Stuff that helps", a synopsis of a previous 5 page topic.

Re: tooth brush tunes
The sonicare toothbrush finally made the difference for my son in the length of time spent in brushing and the lack of attention to doing a good job.  The dentist noticed a huge difference.

Re: old topic Things That Help
A gotee provided  something  to do with the fingers for that "thinking look"
Hmmm...maybe that's why ds now has a beard & mustache... something to look forward to for the ADHD boys here
